Sr. UX Designer
You will:
Creates innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges, including mobile, desktop, hardware interfaces, physical environments, and person-to-person interactions.
Leads the design for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences.
Plans and defines the strategy for the direction of future iterations.
Quickly iterates on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details.
Advocates for design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the decisions including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings.
Develops high level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Delivers work that’s not only user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, but also produces results.
Works alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle.
Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics.
Develops and maintains detailed user-interface specifications.
Presents design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback.
Contributes to the group’s shared knowledge of user-centred design and research methodologies.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Design.
At least 5 years of professional experience as a UX designer, with at least 2 years of project leadership experience
Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and product vision.
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of responsive design.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
Impressive portfolio demonstrating your design thinking skills on the web, mobile and other digital platforms
Sufficient technical knowledge to suggest web-based technologies to be applied to your design
Fluent in industry tools (e.g. Sketch, Axure, Photoshop, Invision, Optimal Workshop, Analytics etc.)
Ability to manage client expectations and building relationships
Prior experience working in an Agile methodology setting
Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Dreamweaver and Acrobat
Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human-Computer Interaction
